PROJECT PURPOSE
Novelis is currently building a new multi-billion-dollar greenfield facility located near Bay Minette, AL, 35 miles northeast of Mobile for the production of aluminum coils.
This project is taking place at the South Alabama Mega Site, which is approximately 3,000 acres.
G.A. WEST'S SCOPE
G.A. West's scope of work includes the following.
- Erection of approximately 25,000 tons of structural steel
- Installation of ductwork
- Installation of underground utility piping
- Installation of underground duct banks
- Installation of cable trays
