APM TERMINALS - PHASE III EXPANSION
G.A. West provided a full-service construction project for the Phase III Expansion at APM Terminals. The project consisted of site preparation of 16 acres, underground storm drain including water quality units, underground utilities, electrical duct banks, high mast lighting and roller compacted concrete. The project finished on-time and without a recordable incident. Project highlights include:
- 4,325 linear feet of Class V RCP storm drain piping and 1,382 linear ft of ACO trench drains.
- Installation of six precast concrete structures with an average weight of 20 tons each.
- A total of 164,000 cubic yards of structural fill was imported to the site and 35,000 cubic yards of unsuitable fill material was hauled out of the site.
- Placement of 868,860 sf of roller compacted concrete
- 27,000 linear ft of concrete encased conduit
APM TERMINALS - PHASE II EXPANSION

The project consisted of site preparation of 20 acres, underground storm drain including water quality units, underground utilities, electrical duct banks, high mast lighting and roller compacted concrete. The project finished on-time and without a recordable incident.
- 3,548 linear feet of Class V RCP storm drain piping and 1,920 linear ft of ACO trench drains.
- Installation of four precast concrete structures with an average weight of 50 tons each.
- A total of 134,000 cubic yards of structural fill was imported to the site and 67,000 cubic yards of unsuitable fill material was hauled out of the site.
- Placement of 857,654 sf of roller compacted concrete
- 35,000 linear ft of concrete encased conduit
- Installation of six Musco High Mast Lights
